Shred Thread Lacrosse, LLC offers camps, clinics, showcases, nationally competitive tournament teams, team training and one-on-one personalized training. Shred Thread Lacrosse was founded in 2014 by former standout Greensboro College Players Andrew Carey and Mike Foderaro. Andrew and Mike both born and raised in Salisbury, Maryland have taken the coaching route in order to grow the game of Lacrosse in the Southeast. Coach Andrew Carey is currently the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL and Coach Mike Foderaro is the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Greensboro College in Greensboro, NC. Coaches Carey and Foderaro recognize the sport of Lacrosse is experiencing exponential growth, especially in the South Eastern United States. Shred Thread Lacrosse is focused on exposing young athletes to challenges and providing them the resources to excel and achieve their future goals through Camps, Clinics, Tournaments, Leagues, and Club Travel Teams. Shred Thread Lacrosse’s recruiting events are all IMLCA certified events.

Currently Shred Thread Lacrosse offers Two Elite Boy’s Travel Teams, One Summer Recruiting Tournament, and Various Showcases throughout North Carolina and Alabama. The Club programs are Elite travel teams comprised of players from the Gulf States. These teams are focused on competing and showcasing each player’s talents. Coaches of these teams are dedicated to guiding each of the participants toward achieving their full potential and understand what is needed to play at the college level. Our summer tournament, The Shred Thread Open is a Tournament which showcases U-13, U-15, and High School level talent. The High School aged portion is focused on inviting elite club teams for recruiting purposes.

The Mission of Shred Thread Lacrosse is to be a positive proponent to the growth of the sport; we want to instill the fundamentals and traditions of the game which make Lacrosse so very special and different from every other sport. Shred Thread aims at growing its players through “Family, Academics, Lacrosse” motto which aims to build players character, education, and lacrosse skills.
